Authors are encouraged to submit papers for publication in special volumes of scientific journals, peer reviewed to a high standard. Submission of a paper implies that it represents original work not previously published and not being considered for publication elsewhere.
Oral presentations (Plenary, Invited and Contributed) are invited to submit their contributions to Journal of Nuclear Materials (JNM, 3.555 impact factor 2021). No limit of extension is requested.
Poster presentations, and oral contributing authors selecting a fully Open Access journal, have the possibility to submit their papers to Nuclear Materials and Energy (NME, 3.037 impact factor 2021). A special discount has been negotiated with Elsevier Editors and the Article Processing Charge in NME will be USD 715 (per manuscript) upon acceptance of their paper. Each manuscript shall be a maximum of six (6) typeset pages in length, including any illustrations, tables, photographs etc. Only a selected number of papers from Oral Contributed and Invited papers will be granted with a page limit of ten (10) typeset pages. Manuscripts must be written in English, clearly and completely edited as to grammar and contents. Authors should follow the guidelines of the corresponding journal.
All manuscripts must be submitted before October 27, 2023, via the Elsevier submission system (Editorial Manager), which is accessible at
